La obra de Elena Doson se basa en una investigación centrada en cómo habitar una superficie en blanco, utilizando un repertorio limitado de materiales y acciones. A través de la repetición de gestos mínimos y procesos manuales, emergen formas que responden a una lógica interna de exploración y presencia. Su práctica expande los límites del dibujo y la pintura al considerar las huellas del taller y del procedimiento como parte esencial de la obra. Grafito en polvo, tinta y rodillo son medios con los que ocupa el soporte como si se tratara de un territorio por recorrer. Cada marca, cada capa aplicada, pone en evidencia la inmanencia de los materiales y la intensidad del hacer.
